History

The Fourth Great Shinobi War was a time of unimaginable devastation. Tales are still told of the many cruelties that had to be overcome in order to secure victory. Unlike the Allied Shinobi Forces, the enemy was completely merciless, and so many honourable Shinobi met untimely demises on the field. When Uzumaki Naruto managed to free the Bijuu, the Allied Forces were given a new hope that replenished their weakening resolve. Witnessing the way in which B., Naruto, and Gaara (three Jinchuuriki from entirely different villages) functioned as a team, helped to further reassure of their actions. Their unity was not merely for the sake of combating a common enemy, but for the sake of instating peace among the villages. At long last the inevitable triumph was seized, and the force that had threatened the entire existence of the Shinobi world was eliminated. Albeit many great Shinobi perished during the enormous strife, the victory was not pyrrhic. The sacrifice of the fallen had finally brought about a new found era of peace.

Present Era

After over three centuries of peace, tendrils of corruption began to make themselves apparent... With each generation the important values forged in the heart of war were becoming more and more forgotten. The influence of the lessons that The Fourth Great Shinobi War instilled were beginning to fade. A number of villages were becoming increasingly greedy, and a lust for great power began to take root. A wish to control as many Jinchuuriki as possible spread throughout nations seeking power. On top of this, the number of rogue ninja in the world was steadily climbing. Recently, the Akatsuki organization and The Seven Swordsmen returned...

What will become of the peace that had managed to exist for so long...? As it is, the Shinobi world is divided among those who wish to preserve peace, those who wish to destroy it, and those who occupy the many various grey areas in between. This goes without mentioning the differences in opinion about what peace actually is...

Choice... The problem is choice...

Now you must decide what to do in this world of increasing complication. Will you choose to promote peace, traveling from village to village in an effort to establish it? Or will you take part in the turmoil and seek to obtain the power of the Jinchuuriki for your village? Will you choose to protect the village of your heritage or will you choose to betray it (maybe even attempt to destroy it)? Will you seek to join the Akatsuki or the Seven Swordsmen? Everything is up to you.
