The Isle of Moore... and island unlike others. Well, in this case, there are no others. You sail from the western shore and in a few days you're on the eastern shore. Think of it as if... mirrors... surround the entire land mass. Villagers know no other world besides Moore, their own land. They don't dare try to fly into the sky because, well, if they went, where would they end up? Down.
This special island is split up into five competitive regions: Aldas, Idalia, Mays, Yerenn, and Sindel.

≈ NORTH
Idalia --
The ice region. They practice the art of ice magic. The government is very strict, lowering rights of women and the poor, only caring for the rich and the tax payers. The women must always wear kimonos and walk and talk in a lady-like fashion. The poor are treated like scum, and the disabled are considered useless. The wealthy are the big cheese.
Idalia is very competitive with Yerenn, the fire region.

≈ EAST
Yerenn --
The fire region. They practice the art of fire magic. The most modern region in all of Moore and the birthplace of big business. This place is somewhat like Idalia in terms of the gigantic difference between rich and poor, except, in Yerenn, the rich pay no mind to the poor and the poor pay no mind to the rich. Yerenn is also the birthplace of the most dangerous gang in all of Moore. It's the center of trade.
Yerenn is not very fond of Idalia, the water region, and is an ally of Aldas.

≈ SOUTH
Aldas --
The water region. They practice the art of water magic. Most of Aldas is underwater, therefore the inhabitants have developed gills and shops supply visitors with lovely, overpriced ways of breathing underwater, too. The people of Aldas have calm personalities. They do not like war, but they do not have the power to stop it. Many areas in Aldas are ruins. Life exists mainly around city hall and the church. Aldasians care for wildlife and nature. They live side by side with dolphins, turtles, and varieties of fish.
Aldas feels Idalia and Sindel's threats, but almost never agrees to go into battle. However, they can't just allow their region to be attacked without fighting back. Aldas is allies with Yerenn, the fire region, and Mays, the earth region.

≈ WEST
Mays --
The earth region. They practice earth magic. Mays is probably the only region that doesn't participate in wars, and all the other regions know it. Most inhabitants of Mays are poor, but they're all happy. Everyone is like a big family. It's very calm and peaceful. Mays is the only region that contains a schoolhouse.

≈ CENTRAL
Sindel --
The air region. They practice the art of wind magic. Formerly a region with strong military ties to the other regions, Sindel has since fallen into a state of cultural decay. With most of it's youth dead in past wars, Sindel's population is mostly that of middle aged men and women, as well their elder community. With such an aged population, rules are strict and etiquette is must for any outsider. It is said by most Sindel scholars, that Wind magic will die out, since there no longer any youths to carry on the legacy of this once great nation. Sindel is allied with Idalia and is hostile towards Mays, Aldas, and Yerenn. Sindel’s landscape is mostly mountainous and it’s citizens are acclimated to the higher altitudes.
