If you look at fitnessblender.com you can search for low-impact workouts, and I find those are a lot easier for me than workouts like insanity. It helps to find a workout thats already modified so you dont get so discouraged Good luck! Im rooting for you

So I actually went to college for food science and minored in nutrition- my favorite nutrition professor would say "everything in moderation, including moderation." This woman was in her 60s, and she was a buff 140lbs at 5ft 7, and she would walk in to class with a diet coke at least once a week. Let me tell you, I went vegan for a few months once. It works for some people, and more power to them. But I felt awful- slow, sluggish, sleeping 10 hours a night. I went to the doc and he said I was hypoglycemic and I needed to be on a high protein diet. Breads, pastas, rice, all went out the window for me. Even if you maintain your vegetarian lifestyle, I'd recommend at least eating eggs and ...

We are one in the same!! This is the only birth control Ive ever been on that my period lasts less than a week.. but I noticed I gained 10lbs right off the bat. That's the one I did!!!! hahaha. Im actually on a high protein diet- I have hypoglycemia so my doctor told me instead of focusing on lowering sugars, focus on upping protein (essentially the same process.. but a different way of thinking) I have a pretty reasonable diet regimen already- Im just one of those lucky people that gain weight if I eat 1600 calories a day :roll: Also, Its been fo ...

Oh I still lift, just higher rep and lighter weight. Its closer to what I did in my weight training classes in college vs what I did to train for competition. Plus, Im just lifting at my apartment gym. A full set of dumb bells, but no barbells to play with :(

When I am trying to shed weight I make SOUPS. Anything in a broth/sauce. Some ideas: Vegetarian chili. Sautee 1 chopped green pepper and 1 onion in a large chili pot. If you go to their website you can choose the difficulty and length of your workout- they have plenty of low-impact cardio that I think would work well for you.
