I think your friend is having her own security issues at the moment. All you can do to survive around her is calm down, realize that it's not a personal issue, and just try to help her through whatever she's doing. As for your boyfriend, he just doesn't understand.

I'd say he's purposely ignoring you because he knows you like him, he doesn't like you back, and he doesn't know how to deal with himself. (Immaturity. :x) Try and talk to him, because you can't just wait around for a guy to just talk to you. It doesn't work that way. But in all honestly, I don't think he's worth it; really, he isn't.

I think I get what you're saying... ...The only thing I can think of is to tell your boyfriend straight out that your mom isn't bad. Just remember, later on it won't matter if it was awkward at all, just that he got the information that you wanted him to.

Whatever you do, DO NOT break up with your boyfriend over another guy you hardly know! You will truly regret it! If you care about your boyfriend and your relationship with him still, I'd say you try to work it out. Try and talk to him about how you're feeling and how you can work it out together. Just breaking up with him without a word isn't going to help anything.

Asides from the inevitable religious/sexuality debate... I'd say, pray. For your friend and yourself. She's made a choice in her life, and all you can do is support her. Pushing all that "sin" stuff on her is just going to push her more away from God, trust me.
