Raine stopped suddenly upon hearing a man shouting. She squeezed her eyes shut, hoping she wouldn't get in trouble. "Please, I'm sorry! I'll go back, just don't hurt me!" She called, feeling stupid for choosing those words.

Raine ran quickly through the hills, glad to be out of that neighborhood. You're not out yet she thought to herself, smiling. At least she made it this far. She just hoped no one saw her escape.
