Problem is, the people who have more will end up with more in the end than the people who had nothing and received the same amount as those who had a lot. It doesn't end up equal because the punished stay punished. That's like saying that racism only exists because I point out when people are racist. ******** logic, there, ace. Never would. That's why I read context. While the intent is hostile, I suppose, they have to admit that there is a difference. White people were never brutally lynched while a mob chanted that word, were they. I'd say that the context is important here. Mero's not that type.

Preferential treatment as you style it is sometimes necessary. For instance, would it be wrong to offer preferential treatment to say a racial group which the Americans genocided? Is that equal? No. Will treating them equally ever make them equal? No. You have to level the score.

You misunderstand. People are currently determined by the constructs, so you cannot ignore the effects of said constructs, is what she's trying to say. Not that deconstruction of the constructs is bad. :3nod:
