Yeah, that's pretty strong. You need more confident lines though. EDIT: The face doesn't measure up to the rest in terms of anatomical quality. You wanna maybe try a different approach to it, like less anime and more...you know, face?

DUDE. I am so in a position to help you with this. With the help of my photography professor, I just purchased a used camera on ebay for 125 bucks, one that's worth FAR more than that. As a matter of fact, he helped me find a bunch of links to ebay auctions, with the primary criteria being that they be under 200 dollars. I totally swear. Lemme dig up the links to the auctions I didn't go for.

Well no, not really. I mean there's no point to this, it's just an avatar art thing. EDIT: Heh, that sounded a little defensive. What I mean to say is, you're absolutely right, this piece does fail in the expressive category, which is a really important one.

Yeah, I agree with the torso part, and probably the shoulders (some people do have shoulders like that but I'm not so sure that's what I was really going for here) but the angular thing is my bread and butter.
