Just a thought, but I think you run the risk of talking to people like that in any type of internet interaction, whether it involves furry or not. XP So I see why furries are perceived at a red light. But do you think this should prevent the admins from releasing fur skins? Because people have been wanting animal skins, whether they be a furry or not.

I was never against furs. If I was, then I'd never get the werewolf skin I've always wanted (not saying there will be one in the near future, but it still leaves me room to dream). Partial nudity is allowed in PG-13 movies and such, so I guess it's okay to have pictures where people show their bras and panties, even though I'd rather live without. However, opaque undergarments defeats the purpose of partially covering a nude body, so I think the mod was right in his or her justification.
