Hitler wasn't really that bad of a guy... 129 Extended Discussion 4/4/10 3:28am

I was tempted to write some sort of counter argument to your statements of immense and utter fail, but I can't decide if you're a stupid person or a smart troll. If you're a stupid person (which seems likely) then any intelligent discourse is a waste of time. If you're a troll, then bravo! Pulling out the I Heart Hitler card will get them every time. I figure I have both options covered if I just ...

~Incest~ Edit: First Posts 2,318 Lifestyle Discussion 7/15/09 4:08am

I don't know. I think incest is a taboo in basically every culture on the planet for a reason. (I'm talking about your direct bloodline, not second cousins. Though I think second cousin incest is iffy too) Whether you support it or not, it is in fact a taboo. If you tell someone you're in love with a direct family member, you generally won't get sympathy or understanding. You'll get shock and revu ...

Eh, it's just what I heard from my aunt who does graphic design. However, she's not a professional, and neither am I. I personally like PCs better anyways XP

Further confirmation that Twilight is Smeyers personal fantasy gone wild. But what surprised me most was that she's 35. I thought she was 40ish <.<

PCs generally give you a ton more options than a Mac, both spec and price wise. Basically the only thing a Mac is "better" at is being more video editing and graphic design ready out of the box. So if you're a graphic design major or something, then a Mac may benefit you in the long run. Getting a Mac also means you have to make sure all your other computer accessories are Mac compatible. I've ...

Mysterious free gifts are the best! XD There are lots of clips of Miyavi talking on youtube. The majority of them are in Japanese of course, but since his world tour there are some in English too. (I assume you were talking about his speaking voice, not his singing voice) Rosetta Stone is supposed to be good but it is incredibly expensive, so I've never tried it. I tried to teach myself Japa ...

I want it because I'm majoring in Japanese and once I get fluent, I would like to read all the old articles and interviews with Miyavi. There are only so many fan translations out there.

o_o I have no idea how it works "logically". But Lord Sparklepire does get Bella pregnant in the last book, so I guess it works somehow. Which brings the series to a whole new level of wrong. Bella is barely out of high school and she's having a baby, which is a-ok by the mormon standards of Smeyer. Not to mention that apparently the super powerful mini mary sue demon spawn is eating Bella from th ...

I just saw on CDJapan that they're releasing an archive book of pictures and articles on Miyavi from Shoxx magazine. The book will span from the beginning of his career in 2002-2008. It's coming out in July and it's $66.52. On one hand I'm very excited and I want the book very badly. On the other hand I'm horrified because I know that all my plans for saving up money will be postponed until I ...

Vegans and Vegetarians.. what do you think? 110 Lifestyle Discussion 4/24/09 9:40pm
Sugar Coated Sickness
Exactly! The world is still very unfriendly for vegans and it's hard. I end up cooking a lot of vegan meals when I have kitchen access because my favorite cookbooks are actually vegan. Vegan With a Vengeance, Veganomicon, and Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World are AMAZING. Basically anything with Isa Chandra Moskowitz is an essential vegetarian/vegan cookbook. And I saw a new vegan soul foo ...

Mixed religion relationships. 20 Lifestyle Discussion 4/20/09 6:01am

My dad is Jewish and my mom is Catholic, and it all works out fine. They discussed how they would raise their kids religiously before they got married, which is key. According to Jewish law, children are the religion of their mother, which kinda makes me not "really" Jewish, so my siblings and I were raised Catholic. But we celebrate Jewish holidays with my dad and his side of the family, though w ...

What do you think about satanism? 220 Lifestyle Discussion 7/3/09 3:36am
Puritanical Shinigami
On a subject like religion which is based on faith and not facts, I believe that whatever makes sense to a person spiritually is fine. It's all good as long as their religious beliefs don't directly hurt people or infringe on other people's rights. And as long as they don't try to "sell" their religion to uninterested people.
