It gets terribly hot here as well. 90 + in the summer and the temperature fluctuates. One day it was 80+ and it sank to about 40 degrees within a few hours. I live right by Lake Superior and it's gorgeous here, and the lake wind is a blessing on hot days.
I might be visiting Vancouver next summer for a course at a film school. Are there any places of interest that I should check out?

I live close to the border between the USA and Canada. About 150 miles, give or take. I will always love the US as my home country, but the government is a different matter.
Needless to say, being so close to the border I really don't see any differences between the people or immediate regions of the two countries. The surrounding area is gorgeous and the people are pleasant.

Gaia's economy has been pretty sketchy lately, but as all economies do, it will pick up.
I was quite shocked, however, when I saw an item on tektek with an average price of 12 million gold.
I've been on Gaia for a while (this is a new account), and I remember when items were at most 500k...Now they sell for twice as much on average.
