My depression has been forgotten by my mother. 5 Life Issues 5/19/10 2:07am

Whether the glass is half empty or half full is a matter of perspective. Even if you can't be totally independent, you CAN take care of yourself enough to get by. It is a choice to either be depressed or realize that you are better than the things that hold you back.

I get things done faster because it takes less time to actually have a conversation than it does to type out what you need to say and wait for a response.

Then don't bring it up unless you're trying to make a point. sorry, I forgot it was wrong to be friendly, and act the same as I would in real life, on the internet.

It's not relevant. I was just trying to make conversation. I think there are too many factors that determine what a child becomes when they grow up. Like I said, any parent can be a bad parent, and I think that it's kind of petty to not favor homosexuals simply because their child is slightly more likely to be homosexual. What age group were the people in the study? With the "trend" in te ...

Interesting. I live in an area with a high population of those Christians that are against homosexuality. There are 3 churches, just in walking distance of my house, that teach against homosexuality. I think there are too many factors that determine what a child becomes when they grow up. Like I said, any parent can be a bad parent, and I think that it's kind of petty to not favor homosexu ...

Women are not inferior they just have low expectations 111 Lifestyle Discussion 5/17/10 7:20pm

Actually, I'm not comfortable with the idea of a female president because I believe that women are emotional and that may cloud their judgment more than it does for men. On the reverse side, a completely emotionless president would also be bad. If you actually read what I said you'd notice that while I did say women are smart, I also called them dramatic, manipulative, schemers, lacking im ...

Strip Joints 154 Lifestyle Discussion 5/17/10 8:28pm

Well, that's not really a great reason. If I was given that reason I'd say no. I don't mind my boyfriend looking at other women. Being sexually attracted to women myself, we often do it together. Few relationships make it past infatuation, which is mostly lust driven, anyhow. All that matters, to me, is that he loves only me. I love him for who he is and I don't make rules to restrict him.

More than willing to say, "You're beautiful." 119 Lifestyle Discussion 5/20/10 9:15pm
Unknown Value
Most guys I know reserve "beautiful" for a girl they are certain they love. I think of "beautiful" and "love" and sort of the same in that they shouldn't be said any more often than you truly mean it. If you have any doubt about how you feel about another person, if you're lucky enough to be able to know you're still just infatuated, you shouldn't say either. I don't mind being called sexy because ...

Honestly, I know very few women that aren't dramatic and manipulative. It's because women are smart that they can scheme better than men. Female hormones give us a stronger emotional reaction to things than men. I'm not long out of school and I'll admit, all the girls that are exactly like you'd expect a woman to be have no excuse to be that way. We all grew up the same and no one asked anything o ...

Well, I put it that way because the only real argument I hear against homosexuality is the religious angle. Heterosexual parents can be just as bad. Sexuality doesn't determine how good a parent will be, and some homes are better without one of the parental figures. Plenty of children with straight parents are only raised by one of their parent. My half sister was raped by my father, and m ...

Which is "harder" to quit? 15 Lifestyle Discussion 5/15/10 3:00am
Hidden Raiyne
I think it depends. I've seen people quit drugs and never think twice about it. The withdrawals sucked, but some people have the willpower and determination to get through it just fine. Of course, it also depends on how much of the drug, what kinds of drugs, and how they quit. With cutting, again it depends. Some people feel so shitty when they don't that they can't fight the urge. For most peopl ...

Almost everyone, male or female, has some level of perversion. The difference is that men are generally more open about it, where as women are usually more modest.
