I honestly hate the concept of virginity. From my experience, woman's worth is usually based on her virginity, especially in religion. It doesn't seem to be as big an issue for men. All I know is, I have had the misfortune of meeting individuals who had their virginity forcefully taken from them and now they're on the edge of suicide because they are no longer 'pure'. :roll:

I don't think they cross-examine, but my professor said his area of expertise is in the Abrahamic religions which means he may or may not be more critical of any paper that is written on one of those religions. That's why I considered Buddhism or Hinduism. He claims to be kind of clueless when it comes to the concepts of Eastern religions, ie. Karma, Samsara, etc.

Yeah. That's one thing that's making me nervous. Looking at all those fragments. However, there is a book that claims to understand the whole situation with Christianity requires understanding Judaism at that time. One of things put forward is that Paul was never a Pharisee and that the Bible is riddled with propaganda in favor of Rome and against the Jews. :shock:

Well. It's a ten page paper, and if the research only requires reading various books for source, it's fine. If it mean going through the Bible verse after verse, then that might be a problem. It doesn't really matter to me, but some Christians and Jews here have been running around saying it's Judaism, therefore Judaism is the true religion....well, except for the Christians, but their religion ties in with Judaism.
