As I recall, the Digimon attacking them are members of a Black/Spec Ops group who serves under the Devil Brigade/Astamon, and is comprised of a bunch of powerful mega/ultimate level digimon. The ones attacking them (so far) are: BlackMegaGargomon, BlackRapidmon, and BlackImperialdramon (dragon mode). And yep, it looks like the couples are all in the castle.

I'm well aware of the case My question is: where does possessing a weapon with deadly intent fall in the scale of "serious crime"? Is that the bare minimum for the status of "serious crime" or is it, somewhere in the middle, leaving the minimum qualifications rather vague and open to police discretion?
