aww, that's cute. My dance teacher just said that to be a pagan (or a yogi or feminist) means you should be vegan. ...I don't even think she's vegan full-time. It's adorable really. It's not worth my time to argue with her about it, but it's adorable.

You should try to learn it anyways. I'm taking a workshop from her next month, but when I try to do the more hip-hop Tribal Fusion, I look ridiculous. Of course, my triberet looks a little funny too. But that's because I'm funny-looking.

I'm in a college town. Nothings popped up to replace the one that closed. College towns can be strange sometimes. (2 universities, and 2 community colleges and the towns pander mostly to the large insurance company headquartered here....)

I generally don't patronize "pagan shops" since the one I knew of around here closed when the owner died. But I went to one all the time back in high school (so very long ago)and it closed to only sell at flea markets. maybe try that? Otherwise, the few items I need (candles, incense, wine...) are picked up at random places around town or ordered online)

That's what I'm worried about. We will have a kitchen table so there will always be a place to work, but there isn't a lot of counter space. In fact there's almost no counter space. But there are a lot of drawers and such. I'm ordering small tins for all my loose teas, and trying to think of new ways to store my spices, and downsizing my gadgets. Sure, but I'm not sure how you are putting that together with Islamic monotheism. I'm more confused how you rectify your beliefs in pagan gods alongside the Islamic concept of submission of Allah. I can understand walking away from being called or drawn to pagan gods. I've known many who do, and it doesn't always end badly in the long run, but based solely on what you have written, I worry ...

I tried to do a balance of history with practical, and recon with less recon focus. Burkert is dry, but Greek Religion really is just that important of a read. You should be able to get it at a university library, or through interlibrary loan.
