So' in the last walking dead Carl shoots a guy who's "surrendering" and there's a big debate on if it was right. Sorry but the guy didn't drop the gun like he was told, and kept advancing... with a gun. THAT IS NOT SURRENDER! That's some one trying to get close enough to try something. Ok, Manga uses dot tones for grays and tones and awesome effects...But it just doesn't quite work for online. Why? Well to put it simply, the resolution for computer screens is roughly half of what is available for printing. often you get a moire effect where you get patterns in the tone. Well I'm not sure if this helps but here are the two way's I know of for doing dot tones in Photoshop. 1) draw in the aria in grey on a separate layer from your line art. Then select the aria use "filter" - "pixilate" - "color half tone". 2) The other way I know of is to download or make dot patterns you then use with the paint bucket. I've leaver action 45 cal rifle that would probably be my gun of choice. I uses the shorter rounds used in pistols so I could use the same ammo for my pistol as well. Also since it's a common caliber It would be more plentiful. Read Reply				4/8/12 12:38pm Lilith Pell
