Matthew flinched slightly as Emmy wrapped her arm around his neck but relaxed after just a few moments upon realizing that she wasn't hurting him. scrunching his face up in concentration he tapped his chin with his free hand, "uh... is meat ok? something fresh?"

Matthew danced from side to side a little as they walked hand in hand. He liked Emmy, she was the only person who had ever been so nice to him before. pulling her hand up a little higher with his he gave it a light squeeze and he grinned from ear to ear, "your the best-est person ever you know that."

"uh..." he took her hand and stood up scratching his head with the other, "I'd like to get some fresh air... so long as you don't mind that is." not even knowing what money is he certainly wouldn't be able to pay for the meal.

Matthew gazed back at Emmy not really sure of what to say, after a few moments he opened his mouth to speak... only to have a loud growl interrupt him, placing his hands on his stomach he grinned sheepishly, "haha guess not eating for a few days has finally gotten to me."

Matthew nodded in agreement, "ya it's a little frustrating. but I'm strong enough without it so it doesn't bother me to much." lifting his nose in the air a little he sniffed, "ya I smelt it, it's just those other people last night were drinking it to so I thought that everyone did it..." ((omg i'm so sorry for taking so long... my mom called and wouldn't shut up... stupid old bat...))

"ya I got tons, Like I got really good hearing and smell, I'm strong, and when the scientists would inject me with this stuff I would transform... but I cant do it on my own." Sticking his tongue out at himself he pushed himself back up and looked at Emmy, "what about you? your not human either right?"

"ya huh, the scientists replaced my heart for a hellhounds." he nodded a few times then rested his head on the counter in front of him and stared at his reflection on his glass, making a weird or funny face every now and then.

Matthew scrunched his brow as he took hold of the glass of water, "I'm not Human Emmy, I'm only half human" Raising the glass to his lips he downed it in a couple gulps before setting it back down again, "I'm half human half hellhound, at least that's what the scientists told me..."

Matthew let Emmy lead him over to the bar where he took a seat next to the man in the hat, "But... But Emmy... arnt drugs bad for you!!" he wore an expression of concern on his face at the thought of his new friend being all wacked out on drugs.

((ok see you soon)) finishing up his song he opened his eyes and just sat there staring at the keys, after several minuets though a loud growl interrupted his concentration and he grabbed his stomach muttering, "hungry." under his breath. he hadn't eaten in a few days so it was no wonder it was starting to get to him.

Matthew slowly came down the stairs into the main room of the bar to find the place mostly deserted except for a few poor souls who probably couldn't sleep even if they wanted to, not really knowing what to do he lumbered over to the piano and sat at the bench, taking a deep breath he closed his eyes and began to play.
