Well, the DC metropolitan area is also one of the most segregated, and class unequal cities in the country. Just from walking around the city should make it very clear to predominately white tourists there are areas of the city you do, and areas of the city you don't go to. Further, most of the lobbyists, politicians, and 'high rollers' are white affluent (males), while most people working ser ...

By the light of the God Emperor we may yet purge the xenos scum from the Galaxy. Only by sitting atop the Golden Throne can we keep the hordes of Chaos at bay.

"Average" typically denotes mean. The article, and a general Google search didn't find anything specific, Again though, it's total compensation. Average salaries are still >$80,000/yr in D.C. Usually if reporting a median or mode people point it out. Otherwise simple averages (means) are taken.

Who are the 1%? Turns out the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area makes up 43% of the top 1%! ..today, for the first time, most of America's richest counties are in the Washington area. About 43 percent of "the 1 percent"—the top earners leftists say they hate—now live in 14 counties that surround the District of Columbia. Nick Sorrentino, creator of AgainstCronyCapitalism.org, notes that ...

Things that angered me 10 years out. No one seemed to care it's been 10 ******** years besides some of the crazy as balls right wingers I want to cut myself over for hanging around. Seriously Dem's, could you make the anti-war movement any more disenfranchised? It really shouldn't have been that hard. #ragequit.

There's a lot of filth in just about any fringe political movement. Most derived from philosophy ego-stroking than any sensible idea of how to progress those ideas further.

It looks like the entire Southern Strategy over the past few decades has sailed over Suicidesoldier#1"s head entirely. I fail to see how supporting a life at conception act is somehow anti-libertarian. Certainly from my perspective as a "bad democrat," or "liberal libertarian," I support a federal level right to choose. However, many libertarians are still conservative, religio ...

I do think it's fair to call Rand a conservative-libertarian. But, a few of the liberal-libertarians I know right now consider "libertarianism," and "the Liberty movement," to simply be hipster conservatism after the Shrub fiasco. Just to many people who support the modern idea of 'liberalism,' would easily construe his positions as just another quasi-racist conservative. So, what's appeali ...

Who woulda thought, not living in a country where income per family is ~$50,000/year with developed infrastructure, police, and a lack of cartel violence carries it's benefits.

Yep, sounds about right. This is why long ago I learned to care who my bed partner's were when it comes to advancing my political beliefs, and almost got into a fight in Minneapolis a few weekends because I told a room of libertarians I wouldn't vote for Rand Paul 2016. But, still, free booze. *shrug*

What's funny is that the people in the Maquiladora zone are the ones not immigrating. They're actually the largely hopeful population (despite sewer children and the like) that isn't migrating. It's everyone south of the Maquiladora's that are. But yeah, having done homestays with people living in Nogales, Mexico, even there tin roofed shacks without electricity and water can sometimes be p ...
