I began teaching him, or trying to teach him, how to be a vampire. I don't know if it was because he was a hunter before or something else but he hated tricking people. This meant he wasn't feeding half as much as he should've. I had to get his food for him most of the time which obviously pissed me off.

A few days passed without anyone else trying to kill Erik. He finally woke up. I knew he wouldn't remember much for the first couple of days. I had brought him a human girl to feed from since he probably wouldn't have wanted to feed from a guy if he'd been in his right mind. I couldn't watch him feed from her just the same. I was too jealous for my own good.
