I can relate, I don't have much confidence in myself either and shyness is a huge part of it. The game looks quite interesting and fun. Rewinding your playtime back a bit looks good. I would definitely get it if I was into sports games, so if this is your kind of game then it should be worth it.

I played quite a few. I also tried phantasy star online blue burst like someone mentioned. It's fun for a little bit but after a while it just doesn't seem that interesting anymore.

MMO for me would be Final Fantasy XI. It's still going strong with a great community. As for multiplayer games, there's so many out there to name.
