I didn't look at the humble beginnings. Seven years of constant practice in any endeavor should culminate in a skill level that is comparable to that of professionals. Again, I don't know how old you are. If you are 14 now and started at age 7 then I could see your point. But that would mean that you went to college very early I suppose.

I don't mean to be rude, but you have been doing this for EIGHT YEARS? With that amount of practice your art should look like that of a professional by now. It's your fantasy world, so I don't mean to tell you how to write it, but you seem to have constructed a rock-solid excuse for any and all mistakes. I'm going to try that, "Haunted City takes place in a world where people look ...

Any particular thread you have in mind? I am thinking about going to a grocery store and asking them to contribute some produce and meat to my next project. I am going to make a giant bowl of stew. They should get in on the ground floor by giving me the ingredients in exchange for a share of the profits I will surely make off of selling my stew.

The art and writing have already been commented on. If you are very young then you have an excuse, but in any case you need to learn more about drawing before taking on such a big enterprise as this. There are already several volumes I see. How many years have you been working on this? Also, I understand this is a fantasy so realism isn't the point, but a little Googling would have told ...

Critique should be harsh. Growing as an artist is just like exercising. If it doesn't hurt then you won't develop the proper muscles needed. We all start out thinking that we are the best artists and everyone will throw roses at our feet. That attitude is poison to your self development. It takes HARSH criticism to shock us out of that mode of thought. Every artist has room to im ...

It's a cliché, but it bears repeating- you can't break the rules until after you learn them.

I assume you are young and have your whole life ahead of you to practice. Anything worth doing is worth working at to do better. It doesn't matter if you call it art or not. You put effort into it in the first place. For your next project you can do better. Drawing from life is the most important aspect of learning how to make realistic looking people. Ninota was not trying to make you ...

Apparently YOU haven't done 3d art before. I have. What you have done is 3d ARRANGEMENT. Not 3d art.

It's more like going to an art gallery, buying a bunch of paintings and calling them your work. Because, you know they are yours. You paid for them. Plus it was a lot of work hanging them on the wall.

Sorry guys. We're going with white (which wasn't even part of the original poll). Not my decision. Paris likes white and it's his character. Thanks for the input, though. I was partial to blue.
