I can already tell you're the type of person who is able to acknowledge their flaws and grudgingly accept them, but unwilling to do the hard work to change anything. Is this a venting post, or are you really wanting to make a legit change to your lifestyle to become "that person" you want to be?

If you think dating her will be fun, do it, but don't expect anything worthwhile. Breaking up after an argument during a "relationship" that has lasted one week screams middle school, and if such is the case, you shouldn't be expecting anything long term anyway. There's nothing wrong with responsibly drinking or smoking.
