The only problem is that some people literally are insulted if people insult their favorite anime / movie / whatever.
They are then the ones that become troll bait and then b'awww because people don't like their favorite anime / movie / whatever. It's the strangest phenomenon.

I'm always considered a bad fan because I completely hide the fact that I like it. Honestly, only within the last few months have people in the real world come to know that I'm practically obsessed with anything that I consider good. I'm alright with it. The stereotypical fan gives those of us that are relatively normal a terrible name, so I'll hide it awhile longer.
