Shiki was just waking up. He was sitting up in his bed. His shirt was off so his scar was showing. Thinking it was Hisui, he spoke up, "Come in," He said.

Shiki shot forward, towards where she saw the demon. As she fought it, suddenly Alex could see it. The demon seemed like an ancient samurai who was possessed and turned evil. The air filled with the sounds of sorrowful wailing. Shiki wasn't distracted by the sounds and kept fighting, putting everything into the battle.

"Like I am now, I'm not putting much effort into my sight," Shiki said, "In a battle..." She glanced away. She was trying to find the right words to describe it, "I lose basically everything..." She said after some consideration, "When fighting demons, most of your senses don't matter. So, to strengthen the one sense that does, I have to sacrifice everything for the battle."

Shiki looked at him, not caring that her eyes were a whole different color. The oppressive air when she uses them seemed to be nonexistant, "I'm the most powerful demon hunter in my family in generations...I can see spirits when I use this vision. However once I use them, most of my other senses are faded for a while..."

Shiki looked troubled again. Why go through such lengths when it's not necessary? "Lets' go," She said calmly, starting to walk again. Her eyes began to give off that glow, meaning she was using her weird vision again.
