I love going to the Renaissance Fair and I always wanted those leather books they made, when it can be so easy to make your own. I used 'Goop' craft glue, because it gets really flexible and strong when it dries, and can be used on a variety of materials, but any PVC glue will do. Elmer's white glue (which I heard was actually made for book binding in the first place, so it works really well) is a great choice, and most people tend to have the stuff, don't use the wood glue though, that dries very hard and brittle. Yeah, I know some people need diagrams, and others need it explained to them, so I tried to do both and put it side by side.
