Digital Fortress is one of only two good books written by Dan Brown, the other title being Deception Point. Other than the mentioned titles, I would not recommend a Dan Brown title if it was the last book on the planet.

Hands down, The Red Pony by John Steinbeck. I had to read it in 4th grade for a school report. The reason I don't like this book... The Red Pony would have been just as good if Steinbeck hadn't killed the pony at the end. I'm an equine person, so I never could understand what he was thinking. Oh, well, not every book written is a winner, LOL.

I agree, the end of season 2 was hard to watch, but I'm hoping for a Season 3 to make it good again. I :heart: watching Torchwood, and being an avid reader, I am also reading the Torchwood novels which are pretty good.

Let's see, cover-to-cover from The Hobbit to Return of the King, took me 6 days.
