Sorry, but I attempted to follow the directions. Followed them by the book. But the fact of the matter is that while in safe mode I cannot activate .exe programs and I cannot activate them in normal mode either because then the windows start opening up again. Both of those programs use exe files as any normal program would.
I think a major reason why they won't work in safe mode is because the ...

msconfig is one of the files that says isn't there when it is.
I did manage to delete every last IE window but I'm not sure what would happen if I were to try to open up a program. They might come back.

exe programs don't work. Malwarebytes is an exe program. I tried running it before and it didn't work.

I currently have a really bad virus problem. I tried downloading a keygen yesterday and it turned out to be malware/virus that my Norton didn't protect me from.(Big ******** surprise. -_-; ) I didn't notice a problem until I tried opening my notepad to record something when Internet Explorer windows started popping up over and over again to the point that over 100 windows popped up. I tried connecting it to the router and did the cmd thing. I found ethernet information but the Default Gateway thing was still blank. I have yet to try to unplug the router thing yet.
