Update on the sprouts! The seedlings are getting pretty leggy, especially the Ananas Noire. I've got one peculiar potato-leafed Black Krim. I dunno if its just a mutant or the result of accidental crossbreeding, but apparently it's known to happen occasionally in the variety. I'll be leaving them in my cousin's care while I'm away for a bit, so I hope they'll be okay when I get back T_T ...

I've been wanting to try Tomato Fest because they've got such a extensive collection. Tell me how they are! Also Baker's Creek gives free seeds with every purchase, too. One year I got a Wildflower mix. Another I got Nantes carrots, which I gave to Bjorkubus because I have a container garden XD

I use Seed Savers and Baker's Creek seeds mostly. They've both had nearly 100% germination rate for me. Territorial Seed isn't bad, but I've had seed failure with them in the past.

Oooh, welcome to the thread, everyone! I'm glad everybody's in the planting mood! I need to take some more pictures of the progress of my seedlings. They can't go out just yet, though they're plenty big enough. We've been getting wonky weather. It was super warm now its back to 40's. ::sighs:: And I'm going to be away for a few weeks, so can't have them out when they can't be supervised.

The Chinese Farmer's Calendar for this year says there will be an early spring (more specifically, it said we will have two months worth of April-type weather). The Calendar's been right in the past, so I'm hoping we'll get a longer growing season this time around!

Slayers is a classic >:| It's still hilarious and its a billion times better than most anime that's out now. They should be able to appreciate it. If they can't, they're as unsophisticated as rocks. Besides its not like the 90's were THAT long ago.
