A different company sells for different regions.
In Japan X company distributes FMA:B
In US Y company distributes FMA:B
In Canada Z Comapny distributes FMA:B
So on, so forth for all the different regions.

I know, but we also have a lot of Cash Shops as well.
I mean I wouldn't mind it being kept around for Sponsor stuff in general, but not just for cash, and definitely not region locked.

It is another cash shop. I really hope it doesn't stay that way after this sponsor thing ends. We already have numerous cash shops, and really don't need another one.
I also hope it won't remain US locked after this sponsor ends.
On the positive side, I think the shop is super cute!
Also I love love love the new NPC that runs it!

Because the company that owns the licensing for it in the us only has the licensing for it in the us. They are basically letting Gaia use it, however they cannot sell this stuff outside of the us because it would be infringing on another company's ownership of the license.

This is not racist. This is not a race issue. This isn't about privilege.
This is about law.
The company that owns FMA:B only has the rights to FMA:B in the US.
Legally that item cannot be profited off of in other countries, because that would be infringing on the ownership of another company.
I do not think this is fair, per se, however life really isn't fair.

As I stated in my post, yeah Gaia chose to do that.
BECAUSE MONEY.
This site is Free to Play. They need people to give them money in order to stay afloat.
Or would you prefer the site became pay to play and you can't get on at all?

As many other users have stated it is due to legal red tape that this sort of thing happens. It doesn't make it -right- per se, but it doesn't make it evil and wrong either. Also they accepted the deal because they want money to keep the site going. I've had a mac for years, they do have right click you just have to enable it.
