The fitst time that I read a manga was at a restaurant. We ordered a beer and a hooka. We were talking and talking, and suddenly a friend of mine was talking about anime ... and than he pulled a manga out of his backpack. It was a volume of Fruit Basket. It was in 2005.

Verry nice and all. But it's just an example. One to show that "better" is just "subjective" to the person saying it is. Look at them like cars, you can have a drag-racer, or a rally stock car, there both the best on there own part, but one might think a drag racer is better since it's "faster" on the strait, but you wouldn't want to use it in the Alps with all those bends and dirt roads. I have all episodes of the first and the second season on DVD as well as all movies :whee: And still I agree with lots of people that "better" is highly subjective. Yes GitS has lots of superior footage than that of most others. Yes, it has (no doubt) been a major milestone in the world of anime. But does that make it the "best" anime around? Hehe, sorry to say so, but it kinda sounds funny. Well, if she is smart, she didn't even tell him and just lets you sit in agony THINKING that she may have said it. Eventually letting you tell him your self by accident.
