By "all nations" he meant that not only the Jews were included in this (keep in mind that the early church was entirely composed of Jews) but Greeks, Romans, Chaldeans, etc etc. It was an important distinction at the time, and I think we ought to be careful about dumbing this one down. It is a direct command.

I think it depends on the individual. Some are called to be missionaries, some are called to support missions through prayer, some are called to support mission monitarily....and some of us are called to minister to those in our everday life through word and example. How's that for a vague answer?

Generally speaking my rule is and always has been that I don't bother using the current p.c. term unless the black folks I associate with on a regular basis start using it... Or I am around people I don't know. But that's just me. ;-)
