Ehh, not exactly shutting it down--that's just what we call it--we'd just be halting most federal work/projects. Not sure how to explain it if you don't understand our government as-is...

Our government needs to make some budget cuts, but the bigwigs in Washington can't make up their freaking minds on what will be cut. There's talk that we'll be shutting the government down for a few days which means major pay delays and losing some federal workers...
