Electronic analog computers are actually faster, but they work on entirely different principles.
In a digital computer you enter equations to model a system and the computer does the math, giving you results. It has to do addition and multiplication millions of times.
In an analog computer you build a circuit that physically behaves like the system you're trying to describe with equations. T ...

You're welcome, glad you figured it out.
You should watch out how you use the terminology... a node has multiple currents going into/out of it, so 3A is one of the three currents you need to know. A node has a single voltage.
You can try a circuit simulator to check answers or play around with variations, I recommend LTSpice:

Do you have a specific schematic?
Anyway, yeah, the voltage across a current source is irrelevant in that it doesn't change the current.
You can have 0V or -10V or 1000V and the current will be the same.
I'm not sure what you mean by its resistance is zero. The series resistance of a current source is completely irrelevant because the current is always the same in an ideal current source.
A ...

To fill in the details of the above post...
The software can tell the robot to turn 90 degrees but to get the actual motors to do that has quite a lot of steps inbetween.
There is an entire field of engineering called 'control theory' which is almost entirely mathematics. You use physics (i.e Newton's equations, F = ma, etc.) to develop a model of your system. Using control theory you derive ...

The final conclusion is correct but your reasoning is wrong.
1/2mv^2 is kinetic energy; once you're moving you have that energy and that's it.
If you go from 0 to v, you need 1/2mv^2 + losses and that's it, you don't need more energy.
To maintain that speed you need to overcome the losses slowing you down.
Fuel consumption goes up with speed because losses go up with speed. The most ob ...

These lists are ridiculous because half of them are wrong or misinterpreted.
They try to make it simple so they just make it wrong.
For example, this black history site website doesn't claim this dude invented the microwave oven:

Microwaven does not mean microwave oven.
This guy did not invent the cell phone:

So they're hiring astronauts right now.
Read the job requirements...

Trying for it means getting a very good education which will serve you well even if you don't get in. You will be guaranteed a career somewhere.
Some downsides...
There could be well over a hundred astronauts but only a handful actually go to space each year.
Even i ...

They have a battery and you need to turn on a switch to have them cancel noise.
The ones you linked have several different modes which are optimized to filter out different kinds of noise.

It's pretty simple...
http://www.ladyada.net/learn/multimeter/continuity.html
So if you touch the ground terminal of any of your jacks it should always beep because they should be connected.
If you touch any of the other contacts of the input only one output should beep depending on the switch position.

Well that depends what you mean by "isn't wired the same". If you just mean reversing left/right channels (pin 2 and 5 in my schematic) then that only swaps left and right channels and it's fine if you don't care.
If you connected one of the audio channels to ground then that's bad. If you connected two audio channels together that's bad.
Do you have a multimeter? They're very useful and y ...

A decent saw is the simplest and cheapest option... however more important than the saw itself is going to be the rig you use to hold it. You need the ruler well supported and immobile.
Other options include grinders, torches, scissors, other heavy machinery, lasers...

Well, figure out what you have... I drew you a schematic.
It's actually identical for 2-to-1 as it is for 1-to-2.
Doing 1-to-3 is just stacking on another switch to the 1-to-2 configuration.
Advantages:
First switch lets you select between groups; TV or computer. Then the second switch goes between headphones and speakers.
Only uses two switches.
You can never connect more than 2 th ...

The first step is knowing the pinout of your switches and jacks... do you know what you have?
There's a discussion thread here about what you're trying to do .. actually that's for 2 inputs 1 output.
http://www.tdpri.com/forum/burnt-fingers-diy-effects/191681-ot-schematic-diy-3-5mm-audio-switch-box.html

Most dust will get in when the PC is running because that's when the fans are moving air through the case.
If dust on the surface bothers you, sure, get a cover... personally I wouldn't bother.
