I wouldn't take any people with me. Extra people just slow you down, and you'd have to use supplies on them. Provisions would be quick release energy bars. The faster you can get energy, you easier it'll be to escape. Weapon- Machete taped to the end of a broom handle. That way you can remove any threats in front of you while being able to keep your distance.
