I've read some interesting stuff about how the appearance of satan is actually based on religions that used to compete with Christianity way back when, and he even changed looks sometimes to reflect new challengers. So basically satan looks like that because the Christian authorities were trying to convince their followers that other religions are evil. It's got few other contributing factors. ... I've always been really socially liberal, so in that regard college has been great and I see no problem. :awesome: I haven't taken any history classes while I've been here, my major is totally unrelated, so I wouldn't know about factual bias in that discipline. I never really was, short of just thinking it was kind of weird. I considered it to be none of my business, though. I was very lucky in that my church, while thinking homosexuality was a sin, just never mentioned it. It was like it didn't exist at all. So there was really no indoctrination in that regard. As a pro-choicer, No, no, and still no. The first one is a little strange. I would say that people who chose to kill a fetus rather than put it into the false uterus were misguided, especially if it was free or low-cost. I would wonder why they chose that with an easy out. This may be OT, but I've really never understood how alienating people, being obnoxious and having poor interpersonal skill is "winning".
