It all varies from artist to artist. Some have tried toning down for appeal of course but also it's become nothing but a money game. Now days almost 50% of all the bands out there are all in it to get the big bucks and get radio play not to get their message out to their fans, that's become a thing of the past. No it's not you cause it's been this way for a while. A perfect example would be Disturbed's "Ten Thousand Fists" if you compare it to the previous two. Another example would be Megadeth's "United Abominations", there's a lot of examples I can list off.

Well A7Xs new album blows chunks completely only got like two good songs on it. And to me it sounds like the last two albums cause they're just repeating the same notes over and over. Linkin Park's new album I have yet to listen to but from what "Minutes To Midnight" sounded like I'm kinda hesitant to. I dunno if I can agree with the last part cause the newest As I Lay Dying album "The Powerless Rise" ends just as well as it begins. A lot better than some of their previous albums like "Frail Words Collapse" or "Shadows Are Security". As for the the Stone Sour thing, I do see what you mean even with the start/end thing cause Threadbare can't compare to Mission Statement, no chance in hell.

I dunno honestly I can't listen to the entire only a handful of songs do I actually like from it, but I can listen to the other two in their entirety. So far favorite songs off of Audio Secrecy are The Bitter End or Hate Not Gone (only on the Special Edition version).

As far as I know no new album is coming out this year especially with the fact that Corey & Jim are with Stone Sour and are about to go on tour. Not to mention Joey is with Wednesday 13 and the Murderdolls who have a new album coming out titled "Women and Children Last". The only new release that's out is their new DVD titled "(sic)ness".

Which I have to say, Stone Sour's new album "Audio Secrecy" kinda blows compared to the last two. It's way too soft not to mention the cut the language A LOT.

I wasn't being a**l or anything just don't like fake rumors about the band. Personally I don't think they'd ever be able to write songs that way, I mean even with a title like Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat the album was a metal/jazz fusion completely off from the album title.

That' still complete bullshit because I've listen to all of their interviews as well as unauthorized footage from Dark Goat and no where does it say where they ever satanic not even when Anders Coselfin was the lead singer. Because NONE of their material sounds satanic or even demonic. I think that little history story is nothing but fabricated bullshit, something you'd find on Wikipedia.
