It was quite excellent. Not so much science fiction but still. Lovely acting, creepy, creepy monsters. It, well, made me think of Sherlock on a couple of occasions. Which made me giggle a bit.

Perhaps unpopular opinion but I really wouldn't like that. Apart from slowing the episode with introductions, having to explain the situation, having all the obligatory lines that would need to be said if ever they did meet again, etc. etc. there would be no point to it. Yeah. It was good, but hardly any sort of conclusion. I do like the fact that Nazi Germany was the backdrop but not the story. I kept being distracted by the thought 'they wouldn't get away with that in the middle of Berlin/Hitler's office', though. Oh well. I don't quite get why people are judging the whole episode on the revelation at the end. I'd read the speculation but I didn't actively think about it. It came as a surprise but hardly a large one. Concerning when Amy is substituted, in Confidential it was said that she hadn't been real Amy since before the first episode - that is, the Impossible Astronaut. Can't be arsed to find the exact quote but it was along the lines of 'and now we find out that Amy has been Flesh the entire series', or something to that effect. I'm fairly sure, anyway. I hope I didn't imagine it.
