Buy both of their albums, they're incredible. One of the best Hip Hop Jazz acts out there.

Listen to Whoa Nelly again... She didn't change her style she got new production. There's nothing really different about s**t, exxcept that Timbo produced it.
She flipped her style for Folklore, but the album was called folklore, I mean damn, what could you really expect.
Y'all kill me with this. The moment somebody you "used" to like gets popular, and gets play on MTV you wanna call 'em sel ...

No, they didn't. Clef and Lauryn was a big debacle and was responsible in no small part the reason they broke up, however. It was more focused on the fact that Clef got the critical acclaim for the production on the Score. In fact he got more than his fair share of the credit considering, that Diamond D, and Pras, and Lauryn were instrumental in the design and direction of the album. Not to ta ...

They'd broken up before Miseducation was released. Lauryn did all the production on Miseducation to prove that she was as talented as Clef.
And you're badmouthing an MC who's comparable to the best. Her voice is technically on point. I question er Guitar, but she rhymes and sings better than most. And the Score is one of the best albums ever made, and fairly successful to boot, they had thr ...

They broke up basically because the only reason the Fugees made the Score was because Lauryn ripped up the Blunted on Reality album. She got the critical acclaim for it, and on the Score they claimed that Wyclef was responsible for everything on it.
Or that's what they were telling people. A large part of it has to do with the fact that Lauryn was in love with Clef, and they couldn't work that ...

| Is Mos Def A Good Singer | 20 | Rap/Hiphop/R&B |

Mos Def is far better than 50 Cent, and actually better than a lot of the R&B guys out there. He's a classically trained Baritone. He's got a perfect Broadway voice. He'll never be the best pop star or anything though.

You're ignoring duality.
In the case that what you say is true, Hip Hop then is a monster of two faces. A Jeckyll and Hyde, rather than a chameleon. Divided not by the trems underground and Mainstream, or Underground and Commercial simply by the ideologies of individual artists, that we simply divide into those two categories.
I would tend to disagree. Regardless of the individual opport ...

That's generally the case, but don't worry, if he ever drops a full record for the states, cats will be picking it up. There's no question that he's got skill.

Joey Brains is better than your favorite rapper though.
not seriously, I don't know who that is, but he's certainly worth the listen regardless of whether he's grime or not. He's got flow, and lyrics. The only things I've been able to hear him on though are Chester Copperpot records, Chapter Seven and on Issues, a Coppershot record (Copperpot and Longshot).
