I play it, but I'm not sold on the entertainment value. It is a bonified Pokemon rip-off, with the Gaia twist of using familiar faces of CI animals (Cathulu and Titus to name two off the top of my head), AND zOMG!'s soundtrack..... The servers are cycled to reduce lag. I can't explain exactly how that works (I'm not a computer person) but I believe it has to do with the data and cache going across it and needing a chance to clear.

It's for the St. Patrick's Day event. Go to the Shamrock 2011 Event page (you should be able to find it in the forum section on the 'Popular' list). Your next step is to either post a topic or comment in a topic say 'leprechaun' or 'Odanodan' (or several other things). They have an active bot replying to comments. This should turn you green. I was silently wishing that the green avatar effect would transfer over into zOMG. ((I know it isn't feasible because of coding and low staff, but I thought it'd be kinda awesome.))

I was actually pretty impressed with what they pulled out for the original songs (even the ones that were just for LULZ). I have to wonder who they actually got to write them though. They gave them to certain characters, but were they all just by-products of the producing/writing staff? So what about those of us who do not want to connect our Facebook with our Gaia Accounts? Why is it those of us who don't want to connect them can no longer receive daily bonuses just because we want to keep these areas of their lives separate?
