Death Note.
The art is beautiful, the story is intriguing and involved and well-crafted, the characters are complicated and interesting, and it's a fun read that gives one's brain cells some exercise. :3nod: I also love that it has its humorous points as well (while also being serious enough that it's endlessly amusing to parody...)
