With all this talk of selling items, I went in my inventory and started selling all the stuff I never wear and probably never will wear. x} I'm up to a little over half a billion, which seems like it should be a lot. However, I bet that's the new 100k or something. LAME. EDIT; What's also lame is that I had no idea the free 2-day shipping benefit of Amazon Prime was shareable. I could've saved ...

THE AT STYLE DATABASE ver.2 ~ MODELS YO I NEED THEM 308 Avatar Talk 11/20/14 4:13am

For abstract blobs, they don't necessarily have to be backwards. They just happen to be backwards most of the time due to ease. Front-facing blobs are rare; I'm not sure if I've ever seen one. However, they can theoretically exist. By the way, if you still need examples {for any category}, my archive is open. :} EDIT; Oh and fun fact; I was the first person to make blob avatars and 2-in-1 { ...

What is this? Have you ever read the item descriptions? Sometimes, they're utter nonsense; others contain bits of stories. I think we often ignore them -- perhaps giving them the occasional read and then forgetting about them. This contest seeks to stop that. This contest is all about reading the item descriptions. How does it work? This contest will have multiple rounds. I will be ...

Maybe it's because I posted there nearly every day, but sometimes I find it hard to believe that {for me at least} the Op/l was only fully active for about two and a half years.

{Here goes another attempt at writing outside my normal style.} i can see the stars piercing darkness beaming in every direction ; resting like floaters behind my eyelids that refuse to vanish. taken by some bright or cunning perhaps thing... an awakening lifting off the cloak of night; and the stars glide down like leaves detached by a nail biting wind as naked branches sp ...

I think it would be cool if we discussed our favorite poets and/or poems. My personal favorites are {surprise, surprise} T.S. Eliot and E.E. Cummings. I really like the line, "La lune ne garde aucune rancune" from "Rhapsody on a Windy Night" by Eliot. I find he has a way with words that makes me want to read the entire piece without me even realizing I've read twelve stanzas already. As for Cu ...

Fighting demons. 2 Original Poetry/Lyrics 6/28/14 4:44pm

Very quickly... I can see you slowly improving, and that's great! All of the action verbs really help with the imagery. I like how the last line of one stanza rhymes with the first line of the next. I also appreciate how the rhyming tends to lean more towards half rhyme. This makes it much less forced-sounding. Yes, I personally do have a few problems with this poem. There are instances that are ...

Hooray! I got tons and tons of origami paper, and I just ordered more. Some will be coming on Monday, while others will be coming in a month or so. The latter is from France, and the papers are handmade. I've ordered from them before, and the results were superb.

Here's why I disagree with you there: Without getting into semiotics and whatnot, the sound of a word, aesthetically, has no bearing on its meaning at all. A word that sounds nice may have a horrible meaning, for instance. But more to the point, what do we even mean when we say a word sounds "nice" at all? It's ultimately a matter of personal preference. Alliteration, consonance, assonance ...
