Welcome to Gaia! ::

Bittersweet movements made across the ill-lit but massive room, mirroring the beat of the songs pounding across the Zurg's speakers as well as human-provided sources. Slow and yet still alive, the music was enough to cause the needed ambiance to relax even the most tense spirit and yet excite the soul: a Celebration of life.

Neon lights streaking the crowd and the deep bass throbbing like an ethereal heartbeat. Symbols and the like swam deep within the walls through the lights provided by the Zurgian craft.

The place, set up not too long after the assault on 12, was a needed repireve from the hazardous hayday. Booths lined the wall, with tables nestled here and there. Zurgs, Pirates, Gaians, Ninjas, GiB, Zurg Nation; all welcome aboard the room. Rumors spread from mouth to ear like wildfire as the occupants whispered short-lived lives, inquiring about trivial matters or something much deeper.

The entire room, dark save for the lights, provided exactly what many individuals wanted: a place to party.

Aged Gaian

Agent Ricepaper let out a long withheld sigh. This was a wonderful break from the battle aboard ship 12. She took a drink from the hot chocolate she held in her hand - it felt warm and cozy, like a soft blanket after a long day. She hadn't had much time to change since the battle, and had to be ready in case she was called away again, so she wore her uniform black pants and white shirt, but her coat was gone, left in her room, along with her sunglasses.

She closed her eyes as she listened to the music that was vibrating in her head, a small smile lightly touching her lips.
A gracious smirk adorned his lips beneath the ever-present scarf as he spotted a somewhat familiar face out of the crowd. He stalked through the crowd, turning this way and that to part it.

As he finally made his way out of the contorted sea, he leaned on the table the young lady was seated at.

"I'm assuming you were at the 12 incident. How was it? I do sincerely hope it wasn't all that stressful."

Aged Gaian

Ricepaper's eyes flew open as someone spoke to her. She hadn't noticed, and almost blushed at being caught off-gaurd before she remembered this was a party, and there was nothing she should be stressed about.

"Ah, yes, I was. Anything that involves violence is stressfull," she replied smoothly. "But enough of that. I'm Agent Ricepaper, from the GiB." She extended her hand over the table giving him a friendly smile.

::He swaggered into the room. His red coat on now instead of his normal blue color.::

"Dusk me mate ye always know how to make a Captain relax. Do we 'ave any Ale mate?"
"Really now? I would have though all GiB agents wore those stuffy suits. I see this isn't the case with yourself."

He smiled warmly, his body language fully portraying that without the need of visible features.

"I'm sorry to hear it was stressful, but all's well that ends well, no?"

His one eye took inthe details, placing them away for later reference.

"Nice to meet you Agent...Ricepaper was it? A unique name in and of itself. My name is...well, a bit off, but, Salavaged. Of the um...Hawk Crew." He slowley took her hand and shook it.

"So how did you find yourself becoming a GiB if I may ask?"

EDIT: He turned slightly, noticing his Captain. "Aye sir..." He snapped his fingers, a spark of indigo flashing for a moment as his shadow extended, now personified as a husk of an individual. It strode off through the crowd, quickly returning with the captain's beverages before bowing low and dissolving back into Salavaged's being.
His fingers lifted from his holstered gun, as if he'd just placed it there moments ago. He felt like he was accompanying Ricepaper for a moment, escorting her almost. After all, this was a gang of pirates. Not that he was prejudiced or anything, just careful.

He slapped on his trademark grin, sliding into a booth. "Hmph." He trusted these guys with vague response, enough to return a salutation, enough to return a bit of friendliness.

"We still need to be celebratin' mates! Pour these two some drinks, pirate or not they be a part of our celebratin'! Once again raise our drinks to Edward Teach!"
"Ahhh. Perfect ratio of pirates to burecrats. Now time for a bit to eat, and a few drinks. I think we earned it, ey Mayteys?! Hah! *Insted of opening a bottle he cleaves the neck of it off, quickly downing it as it spills over his hand.* "Ahh. For some reason it always tastes better when ya drink em like that."

Aged Gaian

"Oh, you're part of the Captain's crew," she said, almost warily before laughing lightly at her own paranoia. "Excuse me, I'm not used to field work. I don't go out like that very often, though with everything that's happening it looks like I'd better get used to it."

"Looks like we're just two people with odd names," she said with a small shrug. "Mine is... a suppose you could say a reminder, or memorobelia. However you want to look at it. As for how I came to the GiB, that's a long story, and I don't wish to bore you."

She looked over at Double-Oh-Heaven and smiled slightly. It looked like the paranoia wasn't effecting only her. Like her fellow agent, she still had a gun with her.
"Aye!" He grinned and grabbed a nearby drink oh so conveniantly there and quickly raised it and drank it, but never removing his focus off of his nearby talking companion. What kind of host wuld he be if he did?

Edit: (Nevermind. I'll just forward the edit into a post.)

With a grin on his lips, he pulled into some proper attire. "Heh, used to be a Pirate back in the day too, eh." The clothing hugged his body, holding against the contours. It had been a long time since he'd worn such an outfit.

Had he really traded in his coat for a suit? He hated to think he'd given up on his old life, for this one. Beh, he threw away such thoughts. He'd enjoy this party tonight, it would be more than enough to keep his mind on more fun matters.

"I'll take a White Russian if you've got the Vodka to spare."

((Dipping into my profile, are we?))
"Cheers, eh?" He didn't mind this, not one bit. Sure, he had brought along a weapon, and clearly, Ricepaper had made a similar decision. These were strangers, who they had collided with minutes ago. It wasn't time to put away the weapons just yet.

Aged Gaian

A small beeping rang in Ricepaper's pocket and she leapt up suddenly. It was for just such an occasional she was still partly in uniform. "I'm sorry, this isn't too urgent, I'll be back," she said hastily before leaving the room.

((Dangeet, gotta go. But i'll be back in 30 minutes.))
