I have gathered the following information in hopes of aiding all those who wish to know more.
Here is a conversation leading to the demise of 12.
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: 12 shows similar trait as 09 before he went exile. 06 feels that 12 will also leave us for Gaians.
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: If that happens, 06 and 09 will hunt down 12.
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: For 12's safety, I would advise that you do not get too close.
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: 09 is the most power ship now, next to Mother. 12 will have no chance for escape if 09 goes after him
Freelance Minion: We have to warn 12 D:
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: I will talk with 12
indisposed: Do you think we can fix Flarn?
indisposed: Make him remember?
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: 09 remembers Yuzi. All is not lost.
indisposed: Could you try and get some information abotu his brainwashing?
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: I do not know anything. Mother kept everyone away from 09 as he was recovering.
ZoneIV: Do you think 06 would of been hunted down if She was still attatched to Jessie? O.o?
[NPC] alien_ufo_04: High probability that 09 would have hunted 06 if she went with Captain Hawk.

Shortly afterwards, Gaians in town reported seeing 12 being chased by both 09 and 06.

A few followed her, but the rest stayed behind to console a disheartened Captain Jessie Hawk.
