Its sad because i started a couple yrs back and the game was PACKEDD,
i could team up with people and progress through the game.
Now there's literally nobody around... i have to complete aqueduct and there is nobody there.
Where has everyone gone ? crying crying

I was just thinking about making something like Project Goldsink!

We destroy gold by pumping absurd amounts of it into a guild account.

This could theoretically be a user-run thing, but you could never generate enough user participation to do anything meaningful. It's entirely dependent on community voluntarily sacrificing their gold - but the gold inflation was also done with the release of gold generators that people willingly purchased. Until GGs are removed, the economy won't return to any semblance of normalcy.


This wasn't an accident on Gaia's part. The staff is well aware of what was going to happen when they released the GG's.

As the awareness of GGs' effects spreads, I think GG purchase will decrease while participation in projects like Goldsink increases. And some players have hope in the Gaia Walkout, which I'm still on the fence about. But I really don't care now -- I'm attached to the idea. Flushing gold away makes me laugh, and I'd probably continue even if the project was abandoned.

Project Goldsink's account is up to 750m!

within a week vendors could generate x4 as much as project Goldsink thanks to Gaia :l

If everyone got on the same server, maybe it won't be so empty.
The rule of thumb for that could be joining the server name closest to the first letter of the alphabet. Just an idea.
