There are many errors with the first post... but I won't be a jerk and be all superior like that. xd

Only change I think you should make is mention that the Bad Dogs are the equivilant of Night Frights. They're their own monster with a higher strength and health. If you are kneeling and you are hit by a Bad Dog, you will instantly die unless you have most armor buffs and Rank 4 Meat. A critical hit from a Bad Dog can take 1000 health off of you if you're CL 10.

Night Frights can't do the above. Sure they are heavy hitters but I've been able to survive a kneel-hit from them pleanty of times.

There's no way you can relate them with werewolves, they're a whole different kind of class.

Here I can't agree confused Not only do the Bad Dogs look like the Werewolves, they are a higher rank of Werewolves. So no, I won't add it as a different class, because it is not. That would mean to put all female and male Vampires in separate categories, the different hair-colored male vampires etc.

I do accept critics and add what readers here want, but I can't follow them all.

And I did say that there are differences in ranks with the main three. The rest is just unnecessary details...

But thanx for the good thoughts though 3nodding

I'm also skeptical to believe that there are only two monster badges for this event as well. Just two badges; 250 vampire and 250 werewolf? Did Qix say these were the only two? confused

Knowing him, you'd think there'd be a 10,000 badge kill for these event-only monsters. emo

Well... I've been looking in topics, looked in my Quests => Badges in Progress and there isn't any badge for Night Frights or for Find All Portals or... or Discover the Hidden Corner of Another Dimention... (just made it all up)

But still. This is all I could find as info. And no one else has come to me and told me anything new.
So... yeah... So far - two badges

Errodu is correct on this part. Your guide is completely missing any information about the 4th unique monster in this event:Big Dog. This monster has a different shade fur from other Werewolves, is bigger and noticeably stronger. It's nothing like the named Werewolves or Vampires and is, indeed, 'in its own class' with Night Frights. It's also being treated the same way in that you'll only see one if you enter a portal with a crew of two or more people. Claiming that Big Dog is the same as a regular Werewolf is like saying that P3 Squad Leader is the same as any run-of-the-mil P3.

As far as badges go - Qixter has publically mentioned only two badges for this specific event. I imagine we'll have more badges added for them since it appears there is a good chance that these monsters and areas will be somehow integrated into the story in the future. Still, I would try to get both 250 kill badges for this event now because their description implies that they'll be removed in the future.

Edit: I also mentioned some additional clarifications about portal behaviour [here].

I am stubborn XD

I still won't consider Big Dog different from Werewolves in ranks. (R-A-N-K!!!! as in different level of difficulty. I'm not saying it's 100% equal, just the same type)

I will agree ONLY if you prove that the same goes for the different rank Vampires. As they get stronger, instead of "Vampire", they are called by names. Not only do they have different hair color (the big dog has different fur color), but they have names!!!

As far as i know wolves and dogs are from the same family - K9 (since i don't know how to spell it XD)

Just look at all the monsters that we see in the game! Can't you say that there are 3 main types, each of which has different ranks and strength?

I don't know what more i could say about Big Dog anyway... "Beware! He can one-hit kill you!"... Or a screen shot??? If you want to add something new and unique, then share it with all of us! What I know has already been submitted in the first post. Everything else is up to the readers either to remind me or fill me in. Of course, I keep looking for new stuff as well, but there's nothing better than 2 heads instead of 1 (in this case... a lot)

If everyone here wants me to add pictures of ALL variations of Vampires and Werewolves - I'll do it. Just ask. But please don't say things like "you lack", "you missed", "there are errors" etc... These expressions give the author an uneasy feeling. Use different words, say things in a different way, flatter if you must XD, but just remember that when someone is doing something willingly - don't kill his/her enthusiasm.

Thank you for bearing this argument with me blaugh blaugh blaugh Someday the truth will emerge from the depths of the caves blaugh blaugh blaugh

If you want proof the Big Dog is separate from Werewolves, consider the fact that, like the Night Frights, they do not spawn when you're playing a nest Solo.
And they also do much more damage, and have a higher crit rate.

Also, there's the fact that they don't count towards the werewolf kill badge.
So they can't be plain werewolves.

How could you tell that they don't count to the counter (lol) eek eek eek
Seriously... I don't know (i'm not being sarcastic)

And I agree that Big Dog is the same type of monster that appears only when you are in a crew like Night Fright

I added and corrected some of the Hints and Fact.

I accept critics only if I deserve them!

Also might want to fix the fact that Night Frights' power doesn't depend on area.
'Cause they don't spawn in the field.

They do spawn solo. I only play solo and I have killed several Big Dogs, but only in the portals. Fright Nights are for crews only, but not the Big Dog.
