Well, not to seem unsympathetic, but if sleep deprivation in any way improves people's perception of my material, then all I can say is. "Red Bull for all!!!" blaugh

And in my defense, I feel compelled to ask, have you ever tried to rhyme something with zOMG! ? wink

They might as well have called it "Orange & Purple". stressed
Of course, I doubt that calling it "Orange & Purple" would have made a lot of sense or drawn in a lot of people, (provides new 'Alot" options) now that I think of it. sweatdrop

My apologies. I'm still digging through the old thread for art in between studying for a quiz on Monday. xP I was planning to bump it when I finished digging through the old thread, but that might take a while seeing as I'm only on page 8, so.. xd

Also: I would like to think that comments/discussion/critique on artwork posted on the front page are welcome too. c: Just be wary about commenting on the older artwork seeing as those people might not be around any more. xp

I was browsing through the site on a slow Friday night
Saw some Posts saying draw the Avatar above
And me bein' an Art Whore, well I, thought I’d just look inside
Well all that art was so sweet, that I figured I’d give it a try.

Yeah there was furries, there was mechas, every avatar
That my mind could conceive of, even some driving cars!
An’ then someone quoted my Post, told me to move along.
Said you can’t join in until you draw like Doragon

You know I can’t draw, you know I can’t draw
You know I can’t draw, you know I can’t draw
I can’t draw!

I am a writer of rhymes, a poet by name
And most of my stuff is silly and folks think that it’s lame
But if it’s all the same to you, then yes, I guess I’ll try my hand
If you knew how I wished I could draw, I know you’d understand.

Now wait a minute
Let me see now..

Pick some brushes

I made some circles, drew some lines and then I filled them in
Added just a bit of texture, then some highlights for the skin

By the time I was done, all I had was just a steaming mess

Nah, it's not you. There just seems to be a general lack of interest in zOMG! art. Which... actually makes me extremely sad. emotion_8c

I did read it, and I admit that I laughed. razz Unfortunately, I can't find any relevance to zOMG! in it besides that we're both players. xP
