This is totally unexpected! (looks down at prepared speech...)
I'd like to thank the Academy, the judges, and everybody who was involved in this wonderful Event!
Just being nominated, for such a prestigious award is a dream come true, and to be here amongst all of these amazingly talented and creative people, is more than I could have ever hoped for when I was just a newbie two short years ago.
I mean, you work hard...
You struggle in anonymity for so long (voice begins to crack a little), but you always hope that some day, some how, someone will notice your work, and then one day, ....oh boy...this is tough.....(wipes manfully at single tear)
One day, out of nowhere, just when you'd begun to think that maybe your dreams would never be realised, this happens!
