It's amazing that people actually can't figure out north from south. Maybe we're looking at this all wrong. Maybe Qixter and Co are trying to help teach children north, south, east and west by repeating the locations. That works with flash cards and stuff, right? So if people had the option to turn it off, the idiots that needed it would turn it off and never learn their directions.

Judging by the number of expletives I've heard from small children, how many small children I've seen talking on cell phones, and the lewd jokes I've heard children laugh at.........

i do volunteer work at schools sometimes and practically most of their lessons they were using pc's

and yes they were playing webgames..... I was all aghast at this

back when I was in school (7 yrs ago eeeek) only 1 lesson had computers available, and I got my work done first before pissing about.

on the bright side the younger generations will be so stupid that those years older who are still in 20's and suffering for the credit crunch get to take over as experienced and less dumb workforce 3nodding

I want to turn it off too, every time i go to one of those screens it lags for like 1 second to give me the message i have arrived at whatever gate...

i mean for real, its almost as annoying as the message in castlevania 2 every time it changed to day or night

Reminds me of when you got a message every single time a Kokeshi doll failed to drop a mystic weave. (in addition to when you actually got one)
They fixed it pretty quickly, so hopefully they fix this as well.

That's what I thought when I first saw it come up on the screen. That message would usually lag me. This one would too, if I the lag monster caught up with me. :/
It is annoying and sort've spams the chat if you run around to gate to gate or just leave the screen and come back. We should just have it on the map itself and not have it come up as a message or something if there was really a need for people to know which gate was which each time they log on. Or have an option of having it or not.

The first time I saw that I thought well, okay. That's good to let new people know where they are. But once is more than enough, really it is. I get it. xp

Oh, and the other stupid thing is at Gold Beach where Sandblast is. Every time someone kills him the game has to tell me why I didn't get a reward. I wasn't even fighting him. I was just walking by. I'd have to be pretty stupid to expect a reward for that! XD
