Maybe there are other people trying for that too? On the other hand, you're not FORCED to search for them, you can continue on your business, killing animated and gaining orbs like that and if you stumble upon orb from the overload, well, good for you.

You get three for every orb you 'kill' in orb overflow when you're at the beach. It gets better.
