Some games do use that ability. It's a Dark elemental attack, and it usually has a certain (rather low) percentage of working.

I think i'll mostly go with healing and protecting, with maybe some light based attacks. (along with the cleric theme, basicly)

Wind and Healing/Protection. Moreso Healing/Protection, so I can keep myself and friends alive and well, but can pack a freakin' punch when things go wrong.
