What do you do after you reach 10.0?? Can't use normal orbs?

It's asking me for a dark looking orb, i'm not too sure what it is.

To level up pass lvl 10, you need shadow orbs that can be found by killing monsters in DMS (Deadman's Shadow) which is located in Bill's Ranch's DMP (Deadman's Pass).

I recommend having all buffs leveled and reading some DMS guides before starting and then joining a reg crew. c:
